What the hell?? Now my blog is getting spammed by trash comments??? This is ridiculous. I can't even have a *******ed blog without having to worry about bull**** "comments" with x-rated links. Doesn't Blogspot moderate these so-called "Registered Users"? I guess that might be impossible, but this is disgraceful. I'm really ticked off. I already feel so bombarded with crap everyday from every angle, and I had one safe haven to turn to. One sanctuary to express myself in peace. And now this??? Yea. I could turn comments off. But no. I want to hear from my friends, or just even people who actually have something to say about the dang post. So now what? I have to "Moderate Comments." Like I have nothing else better to do. This is when I wish I was an amazing hacker who could hack into these 'automated trash commenters' and blow their system to kingdom come.
And while I'm at it...I don't know if its old age bitterness or what, but as a technology lover, these are some things that really tick me off:
Hour long ads on so-called 'music' radio.
Thousands of pointless and annoying tv commercials.
The ads that take up half the screen DURING the program you're watching because you didn't see enough ads during the last 7 minute commercial break.
Junk mail and all the poor trees destroyed to send them.
Phone soliciting:6am-11pm (including weekends) (I had 40 in one day...)
Text message spam.
Email spam.
Internet pop-ups.
Now, most of these things are supposed to get you to purchase a product or draw your attention to a business to patron. When actually, all these things just make me NOT want to buy their product. I much prefer actually going into a store and browsing or looking in the phonebook for services.(Not those kind!!)
Timesavers my butt! I spend so much time deleting, marking as spam, moderating, blocking and changing channels...so that ironically, I don't have time to do any shopping PERIOD!!
So STOP POSTING MEANINGLESS TRASHY LINKS ON MY BLOG!!!!!!!!

So ya, that was my monthly rage rant...
...and I guess if that's all I have to complain about, my life ain't so bad after all. =)

Yea I agree with you. I think it's lame that so much time, money, and effort is put into all the spam advertising that's out there. That's why I'm one of the few people that likes the idea of RFID in all products, and the ability to track the things you purchase. If I'm going to be sent all sorts of junk advertising, I'd at least like it catered to things that I might actually buy.
But no, too many people are concerned with it being misused that they'll protest it to no end, and we'll never get the benefits of it. Just like cloning.
